About the Role.

We're looking for a skilled and reliable
Window Cleaning Operative
to join our growing team at
Ryemead Group
, providing high-quality cleaning and maintenance services to our valued clients across Hemel Hempstead and High Wycombe.

You'll be responsible for carrying out professional window cleaning on a variety of commercial and residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform external and internal window cleaning using a variety of methods (traditional, reach & wash, cradle, MEWP, and rope access where applicable).
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with company Health & Safety standards and site-specific RAMS.
• Carry out pre-use equipment inspections and report any faults or damage.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Work as part of a team and occasionally independently depending on the site requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and site managers to ensure satisfaction with completed works.
• Complete job sheets and site documentation accurately.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
  (clean and valid).
• IPAF Certification
  – for operation of MEWPs.
• PASMA Certification
  – for safe use of mobile access towers.
• SAEMA (Safety Assessment of Excellence in Mobile Access) Training
  – advantageous for high-level and cradle work.
• Experience in commercial and/or high-level window cleaning.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
• Ability to work at height and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach with clients.
