Role: CRM Manager

Location: Birmingham (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Package: competitive salary plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Having invested heavily in a market leading CRM system, SCC are looking for a seasoned individual to design and manage the continuous development and adoption of our CRM strategy; optimising system output, enhancing user engagement and formulating a strategic roadmap to maximise our investment, reporting on the business benefits the platform brings. The expert will play a critical role in aligning our Dynamics 365 environment with business goals and ensuring long-term sustainability, as we drive Sales Transformation throughout our business.


 
Key responsibilities:
 
Conduct a comprehensive and continuous review of our existing Dynamics 365 setup, identifying areas for improvement.

Develop strategies to maximise the system's efficiency and output, aligning with business objectives and provide CRM impact analysis insights

Lead initiatives to drive user adoption, including training and best practices and be a central presence across the sales organisation for feedback and input into the development roadmap.

Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration and/or adoption.

Provide expert guidance on leveraging Dynamics 365 to support key business initiatives.

Build a detailed roadmap for system enhancements, future developments, and continued optimisation, aligned to business requirements and initiatives, including opportunity for AI benefits

Offer recommendations on best practices, industry trends, and innovative approaches within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

Manage a small team of CRM specialists/admins, setting objectives and coaching for peak performance 

Data Governance & Quality: Define and enforce data‐entry standards and data management, partly with the use of automated data-health dashboards (completeness, accuracy, activity levels) and drive remediation cycles

 
Skills and experience:

5 yrs+ of proven experience leading a CRM (ideally Dynamics 365) optimisation, adoption and strategy development in a B2B/VAR/tech environment

Strong understanding of business processes and how a CRM system can enhance them

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and at a senior exec level

Experience driving user adoption through training and engagement initiatives and excellent change-management skills to support

Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term plans for system enhancement

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
