Benefits include: Our double match pension – where we'll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%, 36 days paid holidays, Share Schemes, Holiday purchase and much more (more details below)Location: PrentonPermanent / Full TimeHelp us create a better future, quicker RoleReporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and design of 132kV network ensuring system stewardship network security and integrity at all times.You will also undertake system analysis to determine load/generation connections, network alterations, reinforcement requirements and to derive solutions in line with Asset Management policies and customer requirements.What you'll be doing You'll ensure that processes and reporting arrangements are in place to meet the regulatory and licence requirements, agree the scope, volumes and unit costs to exploit the best value from the regulatory contract and integrate asset stewardship values through sound engineering principles, coordinated planning, design and ownership.You will produce designs in accordance with unit or authorised prime costs and apply innovative solutions to all designs. You will develop and maintain robust stakeholder and customer relationships on behalf of Scottish Power and promote an exemplary safety culture within your team.What you'll bring Your network construction and operational experience in a Network Design role will be supported by advanced NAMS/SAP (PPM&PM) knowledge and expertise.This role includes review of engineering design solutions across P&C, Main Plant, Cable, OHL and Civils.
