FLT Counterbalance Driver – Night Shift

The position of a Clarke Transport Counterbalance Operator involves:

  • Loading and unloading of collection and delivery vehicles.
  • Unloading of night trunk vehicles for the network.
  • Reloading pallets onto delivery vehicles Lorries.
  • Assisting when required within the warehouse to include wrapping and labelling of pallets.
  • Keeping the yard clean and tidy

Essential Skills required of Clarke Transport Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

  • Hold a current counterbalance forklift license.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Excellent time-keeping skills.
  • Accuracy and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confidence to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Fantastic Health & Safety standards.
  • Logistics environment experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Numeracy.
  • Ability to fill out necessary paperwork efficiently and correctly.
  • Attend any necessary training required to help you fulfil your role.

  • FLT Counterbalance Driver - NIGHT SHIFT
  • Monday to Friday
  • £12.91
  • Overtime available
  • Weekly pay (every Thursday)
  • 20 Days plus eight statutory holidays (28 days in total Pro Rota)
  • Additional Holiday after four years' service - Extra Day for every additional year's service up to a maximum of 5 extra days (Pro-Rata)
  • Death in service - £20,000
