A well-regarded law firm based in central Bristol is seeking an experienced residential property lawyer to join its busy conveyancing team. With a strong presence in the shared ownership market and a solid pipeline of residential work across England and Wales, the firm offers a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their property law career.

The Role

You'll manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, with a particular focus on shared ownership transactions.

Work will include:

  • Acting on shared ownership purchases, resales, and staircasing transactions
  • Handling standard freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Advising clients on new-build homes and dealing with housing association documentation
  • Navigating leasehold structures and managing communication with management companies, lenders, and housing associations
  • Providing clear, supportive advice to a wide range of clients, including many first-time buyers

This is a
full-time, office-based role
in a central Bristol location, easily accessible by public transport. You'll be part of a collaborative and experienced team, supported by administrative staff and a strong technical infrastructure.

About You

We're looking for:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (FCILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer
  • At least 3 years' experience
    in residential property work
  • Solid understanding of
    shared ownership transactions
    , including staircasing and resales
  • Familiarity with
    new-build properties
    , leasehold titles, and housing association packs
  • Strong communication and client care skills, especially when advising first-time buyers
  • An organized and proactive approach, able to manage files independently
