About the Team

The Global Benefits team is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling benefits programs that promote health, financial security, and wellbeing for employees and their families worldwide. We focus on ensuring our benefits are competitive, compliant with local regulations, and aligned with OpenAI's values and culture. We partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to deliver seamless, high-quality employee experiences across diverse geographies.

About the Role

As a Senior Global Benefits Analyst, you will play a critical role in executing and scaling OpenAI's non-U.S. benefits programs. You'll manage operational processes, vendor relationships, and compliance across multiple countries while supporting the design and implementation of new benefits as we expand into new regions.

We're looking for people who thrive in complexity, enjoy problem-solving across different statutory environments, and want to have a tangible impact on the employee experience in a fast-growing, global organisation.

This role is based in London, UK. We use a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

Administer benefits programs for all non-U.S. regions (medical, retirement, insurance, leave, wellbeing, etc.) and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Partner with international vendors and internal teams to manage invoices, audits, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Support the rollout of new country benefit programs as OpenAI expands globally.

Host regular education and orientation sessions to help new hires understand and navigate their benefits.

Lead initiatives to document, improve, and implement end-to-end benefits lifecycle processes, adapting for varied requirements across international locations.

Act as a subject matter expert for international employee and HR partner questions, providing clear, timely, and empathetic support.

Contribute to communications, resources, and tools that help employees understand and access their benefits across regions.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and build scalable solutions for a growing global workforce.

You might thrive in this role if you:

Have experience with international (non-U.S.) benefits operations, compliance, and vendor management.

Are detail-oriented, organised, and reliable in follow-through.

Communicate clearly and empathetically, particularly when explaining complex or country-specific benefits topics.

Enjoy working with data, audits, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Have experience with Workday.
