Role Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Analyst to take ownership of commercial reporting, cost analysis, and supervision of Quantity Surveyors. The successful candidate will ensure that data captured by our commercial team is accurate, consistent, and aligned with business objectives. This role will bridge operations, finance, and leadership to deliver clear insights that drive commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the Quantity Surveying team, ensuring accurate data capture, valuation, and reporting.
- Review and validate project financials, including costs, forecasts, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of data in project management and finance systems.
- Analyse project performance, highlighting risks, variances, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Prepare commercial reports for directors, including cashflow, margin analysis, and cost-to-complete reviews.
- Work closely with Finance, Pre-Construction, and Operations to provide commercial assurance.
Drive process improvements in commercial reporting, contract management, and data accuracy.
Provide commercial insight to leadership team.
