About the Role:

Risk and Management Services Limited is seeking a proactive and qualified Health and Safety Consultant to join our team. Any qualifications provided/ funded by the company, if you were to leave within a two-year period, a pro rata percentage of the costs would be expected to be paid back to the company. This is a hybrid role meaning working on customer site throughout UK primarily midlands to Northwest and Northeast designed for a motivated individual looking to make a tangible impact by advising clients on health and safety practices and supporting them across various construction and industrial environments. This is very much a hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide expert health and safety advice to a range of clients.

· Conduct audits and site inspections, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.

· Assist in construction management and attend site meetings as a safety representative.

· Deliver client training sessions on health and safety best practices.

· Submit professional reports and maintain accurate site status updates.

· Carry out risk assessments and develop comprehensive method statements.

· Inspect installation work and raise safety concerns where necessary.

· Work actively towards achieving CMIOSH status.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Certification (essential).
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH).
  • Valid CSCS card related to safety consultancy.
  • Strong communication, report writing, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage time and work independently across multiple client sites.

Package:

  • Salary: £40,000 basic per annum
  • Car Allowance: £5,000 per annum
  • Fuel Allowance: 25p per mile
  • Pension Scheme: 3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution
  • Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Expenses: Reimbursed in accordance with company policy
  • Start Date: To be agreed upon with the successful candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
