Pacific Lifestyle Limited – Supply Chain Technologist

Pacific Lifestyle is a leading importer of indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, and home accessories, with over 50 years of experience, and is in search for a highly motivated individual to join our growing Supply Chain team.

The opportunity:

The role is diverse and a successful candidate will work in a number of different areas within the business:

· Work closely with different teams across the business to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring quality standards are met

· Generate comprehensive and accurate product specification data sheets

· Maintaining Technical Files and Factory Audits

· Communication with overseas suppliers to ensure they comply with Pacific's requirements

· Artwork and Pre-shipment inspection checks

· Supporting Goods-in operatives during product inspection

· Communicating goods-in findings with suppliers and Sales team

· Support customer service team with product related enquiries

Candidate requirements:

· Previous experience in a similar environment, together with a knowledge of REACH, RoHS, Timber Regulations, WEE and general product compliance would be ideal

· Ability to develop and retain excellent product knowledge

· Attention to detail

· Ability to multi task, prioritise, and work under pressure to meet deadlines

· Effective team player with the confidence to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work on own initiative

· Excellent communication skills

· Experience in administrative support

· IT skills – MS office (inc. Excel, Outlook, Word) and easily adapt to new software

· General administrative duties

· Education: A-level or equivalent – essential, BA/BSc – preferred
