Childcare Apprentice

THE ROLE: to get children ready for the world through play

THE FINER DETAILS: Flexible working shifts 3 to 4 days a week, 07:30am -18:30pm and year-round 

Seahorse Nursery is a family-run group of nurseries in Southfields and Wimbledon Park (SW19, famous for tennis). Join

winner of Goldman Sachs / Oxford University small business competition and NMT & Nursery World National Area
Manager of the year. 

We are looking for an apprentice wanting to gain a qualification whilst working. This is an excellent opportunity to qualify
as Level 3 Early Years Educator, enhancing previous experience or starting out on a new career path.

• Pay: £7.55 for under 18, £10.00 for 18-20 year olds & £12.21 for 21 and over per hour

​Day to day


• Prepare and complete activities based on children's stage of development and interests


• Contribute to planning and evaluation of activities


• Develop strong partnerships with parents/carers


• Provide an inclusive environment for colleagues, children and visitors


• Safeguard the children: safeguarding is everyone's responsibility

Requirements:


• GCSE or Functional Skills Maths & English (desirable)


• Looking for a meaningful job and passionate about child education


• Positive attitude


• Available to work all year round


• Suitable references and DBS checks
