Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Self employed Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to communicate effectively in English. A valid driving licence is preferred for this role, as you need to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
  • Ensure all surfaces are cleaned, dusted, and sanitised regularly.
  • Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines while carrying out cleaning tasks.
  • Assist in the organisation of cleaning schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication.
  • Ability to drive is advantageous for travelling between different cleaning sites.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and adapting to changing situations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week

Experience:

  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
