Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of office procedures. Duties

  • Manage and coordinate daily office activities, including scheduling, correspondence, and administrative support
  • Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance on office procedures and best practices
  • Assist with human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management
  • Utilise Xero for financial record keeping, invoicing, and expense tracking
  • Maintain organised filing systems both digitally and physically
  • Handle phone enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring clear communication with clients and staff
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations
  • Assist in developing organisational policies to improve efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including phone etiquette
  • Demonstrable office experience with clerical and administrative expertise
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with organisational tools such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar programmes

This position is integral to maintaining an efficient office environment and supporting organisational growth. The successful candidate will be a confident leader capable of fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring operational excellence.

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
