Yoga Instructor

We are seeking a calm, positive, and enthusiastic Yoga Instructor / Supervisor to run a weekly after-school Yoga Club at a primary school in Gravesend. This role offers children the opportunity to develop mindfulness, balance, flexibility, and confidence while enjoying relaxing and engaging yoga activities in a supportive environment.

The club runs Wednesdays, 3:30pm – 4:30pm (1 hour per week).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in beginner-friendly yoga sessions.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote mindfulness, movement, coordination, and wellbeing.
• Encourage calmness, focus, confidence, and enjoyment through yoga and relaxation techniques.
• Maintain communication with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's participation.
• Ensure mats, equipment, and the activity space are safe, tidy, and ready for each session.

Experience & Skills

• Experience teaching yoga to children in schools, clubs, community settings, or private sessions.
• Ability to guide and inspire young learners in a gentle, structured, and enjoyable way.
• Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
