Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support for children. This role involves working closely with children, fostering their development, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The Level 3 Practitioner will also play a key role in leading and managing activities, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating effectively with parents.

Duties

  • Provide high-quality childcare and support to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating this information to parents and colleagues.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating effective management and leadership skills within the team.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through excellent communication skills.
  • Support the nursery's operational requirements, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the setting.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early childhood education.

Experience

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is required.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and early years frameworks.
  • Experience in management or leadership roles within a childcare environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children while contributing positively to our team environment.
