Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
  • Supporting the organisation and tidiness of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Assisting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks as required
  • Moving, lifting, and positioning materials or equipment safely around the site
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Maintaining tools and machinery in good condition through basic cleaning and inspection
  • Participating in site clean-up activities at the end of shifts to uphold cleanliness standards

Skills

  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction or industrial sites
