Sand is a finite resource, and it's running out. Today, population growth and the pace of progress means the world is devouring sand like never before – 50 billion tonnes a year globally. About The Role
Job Purpose
To assemble plant items on the factory floor, prior to them being dispatched to a customers' site.

This job description is not exhaustive as other duties may be required to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all parts are assembled as per drawings.
• Ensure quality checks are carried out and met.
• Ensure any problems/issues are recorded and notify chargehand.
• Finishes assigned tasks within required timeframes.
• Meet deadlines.
• Adhere to company HR and Health and safety policies.
• General housekeeping.
• Deliver on department KPI's and initiates corrective actions when required.
• Drive 5s standards for work area whilst identifying and implementing improvements.

• To adhere to CDE policy and practice.
• To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.

Required Criteria

• • Minimum 1 years' experience in an Assembly role
• • Organised team player
• • Dependable and reliable
• • Enthusiastic self-starter able to work on own initiative.
• • Proven leadership ability
• • Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload
• • Good interpersonal skills
• • Attentive to detail
• • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• • Available to work flexible hours
• • Clearance to work in UK

Desired Criteria

• • Minimum 3 years' experience of manufacturing assembly processes
• • Experience with ERP systems
• Educated to GCSE level in Mathematics and English
