About The Role

As part of our growth here at TAC Healthcare, we are looking for an Occupational Screening Technician to join our team in the North of England, on a permanent basis. We would consider full-time or part-time hours for the role.

The ideal location for a candidate would be with easy access to the M6, between Preston and Kendal.

Our Occupational Health Technician supports our clinic to complete general health screening duties. This is an exciting, fast paced role, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You will be expected to drive our mobile screening unit to complete client visits as required. A driving license is essential for the role.

What you will do:

  • Measuring and recording the following data; height, weight, BMI, peak flow, pulse, blood pressure, taking of bloods, vision screening, urinalysis, electrocardiography, spirometry, audiometry, drug testing, alcohol breath tests and fitness assessments.
  • Liaise with medical and administrative staff on matters of mutual relevance in performance of professional duties.
  • Ensure your medical room is stocked with the required consumables
  • Conduct required calibrations and checks, on equipment.
  • Assist in administrative duties associated with patient care.

  • Previous experience working within a clinical environment.
