Brief Description

The Project Manager (Change) will support and coordinate the transition programme towards Great British Railways (GBR), working in close collaboration with Network Rail Western Route Exec and Great Western Railway along with internal stakeholders. This role is pivotal in driving strategic change, governance and oversight, ensuring alignment across priorities, and delivering high-quality programme outcomes.

About the role (External)

Your Main Responsibilities will be to:

  1. Agree remit and success criteria of change projects with the relevant Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.

  2. Manage the development and delivery of change projects in compliance with company processes and procedures.

  3. Manage the production of project management plans for change projects.

  4. Establish and manage collaborative cross-functional virtual teams to deliver change projects, where appropriate.

  5. Deliver regular progress reports on change projects, including relevant risks and issues, to Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.

  6. Manage project budgets within agreed targets.

  7. Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods.

  8. Disseminate lessons learnt.

You will ideally have

  • Relevant experience in the successful management of major and complex change projects.

  • Experience of applying project methodologies

Salary: This role is a band 3C £55,596 - £65,966 per annum.
