Three Bears Playgroup is a purpose built nursery next to Cedarwood Primary School.

Open term time for children aged 2 to 4 years.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm to work with children aged An interest or experience working with SEN would be useful.

The role is to provide cover for staff training, sickness and occasional holidays.

This will often be planned in advance but will often be on the day.

We are looking for a bank practitioner with regular hours on a Wednesday lunchtime to cover staff lunches.

Desirable Requirements:

  • A relevant level 3 or above childcare qualification
  • 2 years working in an early years setting
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Practical experience of providing good quality learning opportunities.
  • SEN practical experience
  • Paediatric First Aid

Skills and attributes

  • Empathy and understanding of children under 5.
  • Excellent communication skills with children and parents.
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Ability to write observations and keep clear and accurate records.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Willingness to learn and undertake further training.
