Children's Therapeutic Residential Support Workers
(Full-time | Waking Nights | Senior and Standard Roles)
£14.50 per hour

We are recruiting dedicated, resilient, and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our therapeutic children's residential service in Rugeley, Staffordshire. We are looking for people who want to work in a nurturing, child-focused environment and be part of a great team making a positive difference every day.
The Role:
As a Therapeutic Residential Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day emotional and practical support, helping children feel safe, supported, and valued. You will contribute to a warm, stable home environment, promote consistent routines, and use trauma-informed approaches including PACE and Equine based therapy
Senior Support Workers will also support other staff, contribute to care planning, model therapeutic practice, and assist the management team in maintaining high standards of care.
Waking Night staff will ensure children are safe and supported overnight and help maintain a calm and secure environment.
We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (residential or similar settings)
- A nurturing, therapeutic, and child-centred approach
- NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this)
- Emotional resilience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work reflectively
- Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and waking nights
