Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in the maintenance, repair, and installation of refrigeration systems. As part of this role, you'll be required to travel across the UK. For jobs further afield, the company will cover accommodation costs, including hotel stays, breakfast and dinner.

Core Refrigeration is a family-run business based in Eardisley, Herefordshire, with over 80 years of industry experience. We've been operating for 16 years and prices ourselves on strong relationships with our clients, which has led to consistent repeat business year after year.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience in service and field operations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
  • Perform plumbing tasks related to refrigeration systems, including pipe fitting, leak detection, and system flushing.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, parts used, and system performance logs.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Driving License
  • FGAS Certificate
  • CSCS Card
  • A strong work ethic
  • Ability to work as part of a team & individually
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
