A global pharmaceutical business with a strong European presence is seeking an experienced paralegal to join its legal team on a fixed-term basis until April (with potential to extend or become permanent). The company is known for its commitment to innovation, ethical practices, and improving patient outcomes through science-led solutions.

Your new role

You will support the legal and compliance functions across the business, working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering exposure to a wide range of legal matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering legal support for commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
  • Assisting with contract lifecycle management processes
  • Supporting the rollout of risk management policies and procedures
  • Liaising with internal teams (including Commercial, Compliance, Regulatory, and Finance) and external legal advisors

This fixed-term role offers the opportunity to thrive within a lean legal team in an exciting environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Significant experience as a paralegal (5+ years as a guideline), ideally within a regulated or international environment
  • Strong expertise in commercial contracts and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential
  • Familiarity with compliance and risk frameworks (experience in healthcare compliance is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, particularly in complex regulatory contexts
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and aligning legal support with business goals
