Duties

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Craft and serve a variety of specialty coffees, teas, and beverages with care and consistency.
  • Create a friendly, welcoming experience for every customer ( Smiles and good chats included)
  • Take orders on the till.
  • Keep all of the coffee shop clean, organised, and running smoothly throughout the day.
  • Support the team with food prep and service when needed.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards to maintain top quality in everything we serve.
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Stay calm and positive during busy periods. Making sure we keep quality and connection at the heart of what we do.
  • Keeping on top of stock, making orders when necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience is preferred for some roles but not essential for others; training will be provided
  • A passion for learning to make great coffee and delivering excellent service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders, confident keeping things running smoothly during busy spells.
  • An eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards, cleanliness and quality.
