Job Overview

Kenley Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and Lunchtime Leader to join our team. We are a dynamic and supportive team, and a great team to be part of. We take pride in the support we offer our schools and enjoy working collaboratively with each other and others in the Trust. This role is permanent and part-time working 7.5 hours per week

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Lunchtime Leader to join our team to supervise our children in KS1/KS2 during lunchtimes. The job description and person specification shown in the application pack will give you a good idea of who we are looking for, including the skills and experience that would make for our ideal candidate.

Main Responsibilities

  • To assist in supervising lunch
  • To organise and support the children in playing constructively together, interacting positively with the

pupils.

  • To encourage the children to have good table manners and to behave appropriately in the dining hall.
  • During lunchtime play to remain on the playground and to ensure all play areas are supervised
  • To encourage children to play safely and imaginatively with equipment and to tidy it away carefully at

the end of the session.

  • To provide First Aid to the children for minor injuries
  • Encourage children to practice good hygiene by washing their hands after using the toilet.
  • To attend any training opportunities that maybe required
