We are seeking passionate, dynamic, and forward-thinking Locum Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists to join our expanding team. We are recruiting for:

2 Locum Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists

Fixed-term contracts, ideal for those seeking flexibility and the chance to work in a vibrant, supportive environment.

Your role will involve:

Providing perioperative TOE services.

Providing evidence-based care

Working clinically in cardiothoracic critical care.

Working collaboratively with a variety of colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team

Covering on-call across our cardiothoracic theatres, cardiac critical care and cardiology intervention services - so ideally you should live within 10 miles of Basildon Hospital, or 30 minutes travelling time.

Developing your interests and specialisation within cardiothoracic anaesthesia, & Critical Care including active participation in research programmes

Who We're Looking For:

GMC registered, with FRCA (or equivalent)

Experience in cardiothoracic anaesthesia and critical care

Commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork, teaching, and research

Enthusiasm for service development and innovation

For the substantive post: a keen interest in thoracic anaesthesia is highly desirable
