GEORGE'S GREAT BRITISH KITCHEN - NOTTINGHAM

ROLE: General Manager

SALARY: £30,000 – 32,000 per annum. Quarterly bonus' available and extra benefits

HOURS: Full time (average 45 hours per week over 5 days)

Through a Menu concept developed by our award-winning executive chef, we serve great food from lunch through until dinner and are looking for a passionate, driven leader to head up our team in Nottingham. At George's, family is at the heart of what we do and with our love for traditional British Food, great service and creating a wonderful cosy atmosphere our aim is to change the way people think of British food.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

You must have a background in overseeing the operation of high turnover Restaurants / Bars. This paired with experience in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. We are driven to deliver the highest possible standards of customer service and aim to exceed our customers expectations. Going hand in hand with being customer focused and service inspired, you must be a results orientated Manager and have an in-bedded urge to constantly aim to deliver success. A flexible approach to the demands of the industry and a desire to develop your people around you are a must.

The main responsibilities of this role are documented below but this is not an exhaustive list –

  • To achieve company targets such as sales, food costs, labour costs
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout each department to exceed customer expectations
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Recruit and train new members of staff with the support of the rest of the management team bot front of house and back of house
  • Continuously look for opportunities to drive sales and 'think outside the box' and keeping in touch with the local community to maximise sales opportunities
