Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organised experienced Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal utilisation of the dentist's time.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patients.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and staff.
  • Proficiency in office software applications and familiarity with dental practice management software is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour.
  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
