Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planners by preparing comprehensive reports and conducting thorough analyses. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of financial services. The Paraplanner will be instrumental in ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and tailored financial solutions.

Duties

  • Prepare detailed reports for financial planners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct analysis of client financial situations, including investments, savings, and liabilities.
  • Assist in the development of financial plans by gathering necessary information from clients and other sources.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services products and market trends to provide informed recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, answer queries, and provide updates on their financial plans.
  • Organise client files and documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and easily accessible.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to create documents, manage schedules, and analyse data efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support to the financial planning team as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a paraplanning or similar role within the financial services sector is preferred.
  • Strong report writing skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess client needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues professionally.
  • Solid understanding of financial planning principles and practices.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
  • Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
  • IT proficiency with an aptitude for learning new software applications quickly.
