Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks in a hands-on environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Skilled Labourer will contribute to various projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labour tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
  • Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and temporary structures.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions to management promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a labouring role or similar position is essential.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • A commitment to safety practices in the workplace is essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including potential overtime on occasion.
