At the Hart of Hartford we are looking for a driven and motivated individual with the personality and lots of enthusiasm to join our friendly team.

Experience in restaurants or similar hospitality environments is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an excellent food and beverage service and experience for our guests across the hotel's food and beverage outlets
  • Deliver a memorable service experience to the highest standards with a warm and personal touch
  • Ensure that your guests orders are taken and executed in a timely manner
  • You will assist in ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times
  • Have good knowledge of the different menus and options available to our guests
  • Assist guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
  • Boost revenue through upselling
  • Follow all safety standards and policies when handling food and beverage

Your Knowledge & Capabilities:

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • You are empathetic with excellent communication skills.
  • You have a passion for the food and drink industry and delivering excellent guest service.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous at all times.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in rotating shifts including evenings and weekends.

Hours will include evenings and weekend day/night shifts.
