Salary - Starting from £ £12.80 Ph Monday and Friday
Qualification - Level 2 or above in Childcare
Our carefully designed spaces—from the calming Tree Room to our exciting Cottage and Construction areas—spark creativity, imagination, and a love of learning.
With dedicated gardens for each age group, our children spend their days immersed in nature, exploring, discovering, and engaging in hands-on learning through play.
Our warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with a wide range of thoughtfully selected resources, creates a home-from-home where every child feels safe, happy, and valued.
About you
You are a Level 2 or above qualified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar who enjoys supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children. In other words, you were born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations.
You have a natural, nurturing, openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.
What you'll be doing
You'll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan.... That will soon get completely derailed though... Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care
Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It's important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.
What you'll need
A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years. (We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, as long as they demonstrate the necessary qualities, values and enthusiasm for working within this environment. If you think you've got the right attitude and abilities, submit an application, who knows it might be the best thing you ever did. Nothing ventured nothing gained)
Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable
Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together
