Reporting to the Northern Europe Finance Director the Credit Controller is responsible for but not limited to:

• Cash collection – Proactively contact customers via phone and email to chase for overdue payments. Establishing good customer relationships is key to the role
• Credit Assessment – Assessing credit worthiness of new customers and reviewing existing customers to minimize financial risk
• Account Management - Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining accurate customer records
• Cash Flow Management – Assist in setting cash collection forecasts on a monthly basis
• Debt Recovery – Take appropriate action for delinquent accounts, such as placing customers on hold, charging interest including debt recovery fees and initiating legal proceedings if required
• Dispute Resolution – Liaising with other departments to resolve invoice and account queries
• Reporting – Prepare and distribute daily cash collection report and prepare month end reconciliations

The Credit Controller will be located at the Videojet Technologies office in Huntingdon.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• At least 2 years in a Credit Control or similar role
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics / Navision and Trust-IT is preferable although not essential as training will be provided
• Attention to detail is essential
• Excellent communication skills
