Self Employed Cleaner

Feridax Limited is a well-established distributor of motorcycle PPE and accessories, operating from a combined office and warehouse facility in Halesowen, West Midlands. We import, export, and distribute a wide range of products to the wholesale market.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced self-employed cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of our premises three times per week. Duties will follow a structured cleaning rota, with certain areas requiring more frequent attention.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking consistent work within a professional environment. We value punctuality, professionalism, and a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
All cleaning materials and equipment, including cloths, mops, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning products, will be provided by Feridax.
Hours & Rate of Pay
- £15 per hour
- 2.5 hours per shift
- Three days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
- Typical cleaning times are between 7:30am and 10:00am, however, exact start times are flexible and can be discussed to suit the successful applicant.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to a high standard
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs or replacements required
- Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Work collaboratively to complete tasks effectively
- Ensure all areas remain presentable
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Reliable, well-organised, and able to work independently
- Effective time-management skills to complete tasks within the allotted shift
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Invoicing
As this is a self-employed position, the successful applicant will be required to submit invoices for payment. Invoices may be submitted weekly or monthly, according to the cleaner's preference.
