Full- or part-time dentist required , with flexibility to offer additional days, in a very busy NHS practice with excellent potential for private work

Essential Qualifications & Registration

  • Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery (BDS or DDS/DMD)
  • Valid registration with the relevant dental board:
  • UK: General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Completion of foundation training or residency (where applicable)

Experience

  • Preferably 2–6 years of clinical experience (new graduates may be considered for junior roles)
  • Experience in general dentistry including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care
  • Familiarity with NHS/private dental care systems (UK-specific)

Skills

  • Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage anxious or nervous patients
  • Team player with a collaborative approach
  • Time management and organizational ability

Compliance & Legal

  • Up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (UK)
  • Indemnity insurance (e.g. with Dental Protection, MDDUS, etc.)
  • Up-to-date CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in line with regulatory requirements
  • Right to work in the country

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Additional qualifications in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, or implants
  • Experience using dental software (e.g. SOE/Exact, Dentally, R4)
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (especially in diverse patient communities)
