We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join an Outstanding Girls' school in Harrow, starting in September. This is a full-time, permanent position for a dedicated Art Teacher to inspire artistic expression across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations in Art.
  • Develop students' artistic skills, techniques, and understanding of different art forms.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as an Art Teacher.
  • Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular art activities.
  • Uphold the school's ethos of teamwork and support as a valued Art Teacher.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
  • Proven experience in teaching Art at secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of various art mediums and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as an Art Teacher.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Art.
  • A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
