About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, may be occasional out of hour working and weekend call outs 

We are seeking a Level 3 qualified skilled electrician with 2891 inspection and test and 18th edition AM2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing single and 3 phase supplies in an industrial setting. The electrician will work independently or as part of a team to ensure that electrical systems are safe, reliable, and meet the requirements of BS7671. To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself, your subordinates and others who may be affected by your work activities. To ensure the safety of all OCS and Encirc staff and visitors to the premises.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and equipment on both single and 3 phase installations
  • Inspect electrical components, identify faults, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Read and interpret plans, technical diagrams, and schematics to ensure they are UpToDate
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working with electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in electrical work.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • You should meet the following criteria as a minimum requirement for the role:
  • Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial setting
  • How a ECS gold card and have completed 18th edition AM2.
  • Proficiency in reading plans and technical diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • An IPAF 3a and 3b license is required

  • Ensure quality resolution to all customer queries, requests and complaints within agreed timescales. Any issues that cannot immediately be resolved should be reported to your manager.
  • To achieve 100% accuracy within all aspects of the job role
  • To adhere to all OCS Company Policies and Procedures and to be aware of the Encirc Policies and Procedure
  • Ensure that any defects or damage is reported to your supervisor immediately
