My client is seeking an experienced Interim Group Reporting Accountant to support our finance team during a period of transition and year-end activity. This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant with a proven track record in group consolidation, statutory reporting, and delivering high-quality financial insights in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly group financial consolidations and management reporting packs
  • Support year-end and half-year reporting, including preparation of statutory accounts
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP and internal reporting standards
  • Partner closely with regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate data submissions
  • Manage and refine consolidation processes, controls, and reporting timetables
  • Contribute to audit coordination and respond to external auditor queries
  • Drive improvements in reporting efficiency, systems, and financial controls
  • Provide ad hoc technical accounting support to the Group Financial Controller

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CAANZ/SAICA) ideally Big 4 background.
  • Experience using Workday is essential
  • Strong technical accounting and consolidation experience, ideally in a group environment
  • Previous interim or fast-paced corporate finance experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage complex deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
