Location: Codsall, Wolverhampton

Salary: Depending on Experience (DOE)

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

About us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.

We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we're looking for people who share those values.

About This Role

We're looking for an Apprentice Compliance Coordinator to join our central recruitment team in Codsall, Wolverhampton.

If you're organised, enjoy speaking with people, and want to learn about recruitment and compliance in healthcare, this could be a great opportunity to start your career.

In this role, you'll be part of a supportive team and help keep the onboarding process running smoothly. You'll learn all aspects of the compliance process, including how to ensure Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, and Registered Nurses are compliant and ready to start work.

You'll also support the team in keeping existing staff up to date with training and documentation. You'll work closely with candidates, colleagues, and external partners to help staff have a smooth and positive start with us.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our well-established team, where you can earn a nationally recognised qualification, gain essential skills, and advance your career with Apollo Home Healthcare, all while earning an income

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the onboarding process for new staff
  • Helping carry out audits of candidate files
  • Assisting with right-to-work checks, references, DBS applications, and training verification
  • Helping the compliance team achieve monthly targets, including signed-off candidates
  • Supporting current staff with training and DBS updates
  • Working with colleagues to collect any missing documents
  • Keeping records accurate and up to date

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, willing to learn, and has great attention to detail.

You don't need any previous experience, just a positive attitude and an interest in starting a career in healthcare.

You should enjoy speaking with people, be able to stay on top of your tasks, and be comfortable learning how to manage deadlines and priorities. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to doing things well as you develop your skills.

What you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, online platforms, and bespoke systems

What We Offer

  • 25 Days Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays
  • An extra day off on your birthday*
  • Bonus Scheme
  • Loyalty reward programmes at 3 and 5 years*
  • Refer a friend scheme
  • Workplace pension
