Steelwrist today is the fastest growing manufacturer of tiltrotators and quick couplers in the world. Our vision is to be the leader in developing, manufacturing and selling work tools to increase excavator efficiency.
As we continue to grow, we are now looking to add an Product Support Manager to our UK team. Being number one in customer support is key to our continued success.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing, professional team. Our core company values are responsiveness, simplicity and speed.
The appropriate candidate will have a solid technical background, preferably on heavy machinery, with experience in electrics, hydraulics & general mechanics. Experience in a field service or technical support role for a dealership or manufacturer in the Plant, Agricultural or Automotive industries would be ideal.
More specifically, your daily work will consist of:
- Providing technical support, initially, via phone/email as well as in person, to our dealers, service partners and end customers.
- Supporting end customers in the field, primarily through the management of our service partner and dealer network, secondly, by resolving issues, in person, onsite.
- Participating as we provide technical training to our dealer & service partner network.
- Assisting with the evaluation and reporting of warranty claims.
- Acting as the link between us, the UK subsidiary, and our manufacturing facility in Sweden on all aftersales matters.
- Representing the UK subsidiary in periodic service meetings at our headquarters in Sweden.
- Developing and maintaining long lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers, dealers and service partners throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Representing our brand at various industry exhibitions throughout the UK where required.
This position will be, primarily, based at our headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire, however, a certain amount of national travel, along with visits to the factory will be required. Factory based product training, a company vehicle, along with phone, laptop, iPad etc. will be provided.
