SEN Specialist
Location: York
Pay: £13.68–£15.00 per hour
Contract: September Start
Castle Education is working with a fantastic specialist provision in York, and we're on the lookout for a compassionate, proactive, and resilient SEN Specialist to join their dedicated team.

This rewarding role involves working closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access learning through personalised support plans, structure, and care. If you have experience in specialist settings or supporting high-level additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students with EHCPs and complex learning needs

  • Assisting with communication, sensory needs, and behaviour regulation

  • Creating positive, structured learning environments

  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to provide holistic support

  • Promoting an inclusive, safe, and nurturing atmosphere every day
