IT Support Engineer – Mobile Device Deployment

Contract: Up to 3 months

Pay Rates:
£25.15/hour(inside IR35) via Umb

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced
Customer Support Engineers
to join a short-term project deploying over 3,100 mobile devices. The role involves hands-on support at a Tech Bar in Warrington, assisting with device build, handover, user migration, and providing remote support where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate handover of new mobile devices and collection of legacy devices.
  • Record all handovers and returns, providing daily and weekly summary reports.
  • Support users migrating from Workspace ONE to MDM or setting up new devices according to the agreed migration approach.
  • Provide additional remote support via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the Tech Bar in line with project schedules.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in IT support, hardware deployment, or mobile device configuration.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with users at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, short-term project environment.
  • Available to work on-site full-time (5 days per week) during the contract period.
  • No clearance required; an account and laptop will be provided.
