We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Supervisor to join

Trainee Supervisor – Social Housing

Location: Liverpool, Warrington, St Helens, Wirral

Salary: TBC + Vehicle + Fuel Card + Training

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday–Friday

The Role

As a Trainee Supervisor, you will work closely with our Repairs & Maintenance and Housing teams, learning how to oversee day-to-day operational activities. This role is ideal for someone with site-based, trade, or housing experience who wants to progress into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Supervisors in coordinating repairs, maintenance, and planned works.
  • Assist in monitoring contractor performance and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Carry out property inspections, including voids and compliance checks.
  • Help manage workloads, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate with residents to provide updates and resolve issues professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and support reporting for KPIs and service delivery.
  • Develop knowledge of relevant legislation, health & safety, and housing standards.

About You:

  • Experience in social housing, property maintenance, or a trade background is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong interest in developing supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Good IT skills (e.g., MS Office, housing/repairs systems).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence (if required for the role).
