Job description:
You will be working in our Ofsted registered Supported Accommodation service with care experienced children and young people aged
You will contribute to an engaging, nurturing and supportive environment to enable a sense of belonging through community engagement, regular support and providing well maintained, high quality and homely accommodation.
- You will have regular practice and clinical supervisions, which offer advice and guidance therapeutically.
- You will be committed to your own development, growth and progression.
- You will work varying shift patterns, working 37.5 Hours per week.
- GFC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children you must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosures Barring Service clearance at enhanced level.

Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a Supported Accommodation service or within Youth Services.
- Experience in supporting vulnerable young people who find engaging socially and emotionally difficult at times.
- An understanding of the legislation and guidance relating to the provision of Supported Accommodation services and social care for year olds and care leavers.
- Awareness of Fire and Health and Safety Regulations.
- Full, clean driving license and use of own vehicle with business insurance.
- Awareness of Safeguarding and Protection procedures and regulations.
