Making a Difference as Residential Support Worker

The main purpose of the post is to contribute to the provision of our residential support work service to young people, providing, high, quality care and appropriate levels of supervision in residence. The role is based in short breaks home for children with disabilities and associated health needs.

Applicants should ideally have some experience of working in a Health and Social Care setting and have an ability to work directly with children and young people and manage challenging behaviour.

St Helens council will support your development as you work towards and complete your Level 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce(with social care pathway) within 2 years of commencement. You must be willing to complete this course to apply for the position.
