Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.

Duties

  • Serving customers and stock rotation (front shop)
  • Maintain the front shop
  • Actioning pharmacist requests efficiently
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
  • Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving deliveries.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure that the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing development to enhance knowledge of pharmaceutical practices.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience

  • Previous pharmacy experience is highly desirable/required.
  • Familiarity with patient care practices is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
