As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers, helping to deliver engaging lessons, reinforce learning, and guide pupils to achieve their best.

The school is keen to welcome a Teaching Assistant who can build strong relationships with pupils, support behaviour management, and encourage positive attitudes to learning. This Teaching Assistant position also involves running small group activities, providing one-to-one support for pupils who need extra guidance, and ensuring the classroom environment is inclusive and supportive for all.

This Teaching Assistant role provides hands-on experience of what it is like to work in education, preparing you for teacher training or further studies. You will gain insight into lesson planning, differentiation, and how to support pupils with a range of needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in lessons across different subjects
  • Running small group sessions to reinforce understanding

  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

  • A UK undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above
