We are seeking a creative Art Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Haringey from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal Art Teacher will deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a passionate Art Teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons, covering various mediums and techniques.
  • Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
  • Develop students' artistic skills and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of art resources.
  • Organise and potentially lead art-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Art.
  • Proven experience teaching art at secondary level.
  • Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
