Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Duties

  • Receive, inspect, and organise incoming goods and materials.
  • Deliver goods accurately and efficiently.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking as required.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including operating tail-lift van.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

  • Confident driver with experience of delivering goods to customers.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Valid driving licence is essential for the main role of delivery driving.
  • Ability to drive tail-lift operated van or van vehicles as required for deliveries.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and customers effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment and inventory management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
