GENERAL INFORMATION

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team here at The White House Day Nursery located in the heart of West Bridgford. We are proud to be one of the last independent Nurseries in the area which means we can offer flexibility and no "head office" constraints. We listen to our team and children to develop our curriculum and offer a family atmosphere. No two days are the same and you will be free to use your imagination and creativity within your practice every day.

As part of our team you will:

  • provide a happy, secure and engaging environment for children
  • take on the role of a key person where you will foster strong relationships with children and their families
  • work within a team to plan and deliver our unique curriculum through both child-led and adult initiated experiences
  • have a sense of fun and enthusiasm for early years and willing to try out new practices and ideas
  • have the opportunity to develop your own skills and knowledge through an in-depth induction plan and regular CPD. We are keen to support you to achieve higher qualifications too if you want to progress to Level 5 and above.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Has a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
  • PLEASE CHECK USING THE LINK BELOW if your qualification does match our criteria before applying.
  • Can work 4 days per week (40 hours) all year round, with a day off each week. We will consider 3 days per week (30 hours) for the right applicant.
  • Has a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate - this can be arranged if you don't' have an up to date one.
  • Has an enhanced DBS in place and is already subscribed to the Government Update Service, alternatively we can apply for one on your behalf.
