Manor Lodge provides residential care for older people in a friendly and homely atmosphere. The dignity, independence, personal choices and wishes of residents are our number one priority.
We are currently recruiting for Care Assistants / Care Workers, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Working hours are on a rota basis covering 24 hours a day with shifts covering both *days* and *nights _*available.
Responsibilities:
- Providing daily care support to help maintain and improve, where possible, independence and mobility as well as assisting service users to carry out their activities of living e.g.dressing, eating and bathing
- Set the dining room, serve and clear meals to a high standard
- To keep all rooms clean and tidy at all-times ensuring a safe environment
- Ensure service users are treated with privacy, dignity and respect at all times

Requirements:
- Ability to work to a high standard and a passion for delivering high quality care
- Able to work as part of a team delivering high quality support services in accordance with an agreed plan
- Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect throughout all aspects of the service
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your work
- Willingness to complete training
Immediate start available on successful completion of pre-employment induction.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure which will be completed upon successful application. Disclosure expense will be met by applicant. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
